IG Shop, i18n
After debuting Instagram Shop in the US in 2020, the Company aimed to introduce the same seamless shopping experience outside the United States in 2021. The immersive experience included features such as direct checkout with PayPal and Meta Pay, cross-border shipping, multilingual & multi-currency inventory, and international commerce compliance. The program was successfully launched in the UK in Nov 2021 and is scheduled to launch in the EU in the near future.
Seller Verification
Led design and strategy to launch the Seller Verification Program to comply with Arkansas INFORM Consumer, federal INFORM Consumer, and the EU regulation.
Ring
Led interface design to launch software experiences for 14 hardwares; redesigned the live video and home experiences in 2017 and 2018, resulting in a strong impact on the company's brand and customer experience. In 2018, Ring was acquired by Amazon for $1B+.
Design System
From Q1 2017 to Q2 2018, I helped the design team at Ring grow from 3 to 13. One of my responsibilities was creating and maintaining the company's first design system across iOS and Android. I partnered with 1 iOS engineer and 1 Android engineer to maintain the Ring Style Kit in SwiftUI and Java, which mirrored the design tokens. The library was widely distributed among design and engineering teams. After Amazon acquired Ring, I had the opportunity to present the design system work to the IMDb and Amazon Devices & Services teams.
